The archives collection of the Altadena Historical Society is housed in an 800 sq. ft. area of the Altadena Community Center and includes a vast array of unique historical material: photographs, maps, oral histories, newspapers, books, letters and artifacts. We have an extensive collection on Altadena residents and topics pertaining to our community's history. Examples include Mt. Lowe Railway related material (photos, blueprints, artifacts); Kellogg Family letters (1889-1908); Altadena newspapers (1929-1989) on microfiche/microfilm; and material about Altadena's historical residences.
